The commission on Laboratory Accreditation has issued guidelines for Laboratory Accreditation and a Molecular Pathology Checklist. Within this checklist it mandates that any instrument used to report patient results must be checked for temperature accuracy prior to each run. In addition the CDC has published their own recommendations called Good Laboratory Practices for Molecular Genetic Testing.
The ThermoBrite Temperature Verification Kit measures the temperature on any of the 12 positions on the ThermoBrite plate with confidence of ± 1 ºC accuracy. The kit includes a digital thermometer with a K-type thermocouple as a temperature sensor. |
